  1. How does Xyloo work ?
    1. Xyloo is a service which measures audience by counter : a few of javascript code inserted in your web pages show up an image that account visitors on your site. The data obtained are stocked on Xyloo servers. At the end of each day, these data are analyzed, sorted and allow to establish a report about frequentation of your site.
    2. Xyloo is also a monitoring service. It helps you monitor your online service. In case of problem, you're notified by mail and SMS.
  2. Why do I measure audience of my website?
    1. The measure audience give you many indicators :
    2. Number of visits;
    3. Number of page views;
    4. Number of page views/ visits;
    5. Duration of visits ;
    6. The most viewed pages;
    7. Entry pages;
    8. Exit pages;
    9. Referers/patners (websites, search engines, …);

    11. The informations obtained are valuable :
      Bring necessary knowledge for optimizing ergonomic and content of your website.

  7. What is the frequency check of your website ?
    1. Frequency check depends on your account chosen :

Installation
  1. How can I install Xyloo ?

    For installing Xyloo :

    • Generate code HTML
      • Click on "Code HTML "from "Control Panel"
      • Select the code by clicking the "Select code HTML" button and copy the code via [Ctrl+c] or right-click and select the copy option .
      • In case of dynamic or conversion pages or pages using other advanced options, please click the link "Advanced code".
    • Insert the code in all pages of your website

    After these simple operations, the service will be installed and the data raised in real time can be consulted in their own reports .

  2. Shall I install a software in my computer for consulting my audience report?
  3. No, you have nothing particular to install, your browser is the only software you need to consult your audience report.

    To access the statistics, just need to log in with your username and password.

Registration
  1. How can I register in Xyloo?
    1. It's very simple !
    2. Choose your suitable version and fill the register form. After recepting the html code by email, copy/paste this one on your website.You can access immediately in your first report .
  2. How long my registration in Xyloo is validated?
    1. Xyloo Free is subscribed forever. You can unsubscript without any reasons, notice in advance and repayment.
    2. Xyloo Pro and Business are available in a period of one year. After the expiration, your account will be automatically passed in a free version and all data will be reserved. You can reactive at any moment your account Pro and Business without losing any data.
  3. Can I evaluate Xyloo before purchasing?
    1. Yes, you have 30 days trial for Pro and Business account.
    2. Free account is totally free.
  4. I hesitate about the version chosen, could I change it ?
    1. Of course, you can change at any moment.
  5. Can I transfer the subscription in another site?
    1. Yes
    2. If you want to transfer the subscription in another site, please remove the code of the old site and paste to the new one.
  6. Once I registered in Xyloo, the audience measure will be run automatically?
    1. No, you have to insert at least a counter on one of your pages. This counter is sent to you immediately after your registration by email.
Upgrade
  1. Is it possible to pass from Free version to Pro or Business version without losing data history?

    Yes, it's possible to pass from Free version to Pro or Business version without losing data history by clicking on "Upgrade to Pro" or "Upgrade to Business ".

  2. How can I upgrade to Pro or Business version?

    Connect to your account and click on "Upgrade". Select your suitable account and fill the upgraded form.
Payment

How can I pay on Xyloo?
On line, by credit card, by Paypal.

You can pay immediately by Carte Bleue, MasterCard or Visacard.

Just click on "Pay by Papal" and follow the instructions.

  1. Can I modify my information?

    Click on "User information"

Password

  • I lost my password for connect to Xyloo. Where can I find it?

    You can't find the password encrypted in Xyloo. Otherwise, you can replace it.
    Click on «Forgot password" on the homepage and follow the instructions to get the new password.

Icon/Counter

  1. How can I change my counter aspect?

    Xyloo possess different style counters, just select your preferred icon and click on "Apply" button at the bottom of the page.

  2. How can I make icon/counter invisible on all my web pages ?

    Please follow this procedure:
    • Insert html code on all web pages
    • Access to "Control Panel"
    • Click on Icons/Counters
    • Click on Counter invisible
    • Click on "Apply" button
  3. How can I make the icon/counter invisible only on the homepage and not in others pages?

    Put the html code only in the homepage or in pages you want to display the counter.
  4. Is it possible to insert a starting value for the counter?

    Yes. It's possible

Reports

  1. How can I modify the informations of the report page?

    Go to "Control panel"
    Click on "Report page"

  2. How can I view my report?

    You have to connect to Xyloo with your username and your password. After that, you can view your report page.

  3. How often reports are sent?

    According to your setting, reports are sent by email once a day, once a week, once a month.

  4. Can I deactivate my daily, weekly, monthly reports.

    Of course, you can deactivate or activate your daily, weekly, monthly reports at any moment.

  5. Can I reset my statistics?
  6. Of course, it's very simple
    Go to «Control Panel »
    Click on "Reset counter" button.

Weekly report

  1. Why don't I receive the weekly report by email?

    Weekly report is sent every Saturday. In order to receive the report correctly, it is necessary to make sure that :

    • The email address entered in the session "User information" in Control Panel is correct.
    • Weekly report by email option in the session "Preferences" in "Control panel" is selected.
    • If both the parameters are correct, verify if any specific protections or restrictions are set on your e-mail account. These may restrict receiving automatic e-mails from Xyloo.

Contact

  1. How can I add a new contact in my account?

    Go to "Control Panel", session "Contact".
    Click on "Add a contact" button.
    Enter your telephone number or your email address.

  2. Can I deactivate temporarily a contact?

    Of course,
    Go to "Control Panel", session "Contact".
    Select the contact you want to deactivate.
    Click on "Deactivate" button.
    You can deactivate or activate your contact at any moment.
Alertes
  1. Who is informed in case of problem?

    It's you to completely control people who will be notified in case of problem, how and when they will be contacted.
  2. How many free alert SMSs does Xyloo support ?

  3. Is-it possible to alert many persons?

    Yes, of course!
    Go to "Control Panel".
    Click on "Contact"
    Setting a contact group.
  4. How can I prevent too email/SMS traffic?

    If you specify that the alert must be sent after the second (or even third) consecutive error, the possibility to receive a warning of a transitional error is greatly reduced. Of course, all the mistakes are stored in your report.
Problem
  1. Why do I fail to subscribe to Xyloo?

    If your ID is denied the registration, maybe for one of the following reasons:
    • You are already registered.
    • Your ID is already used and there is a payment debt.
  2. Why is my account blocked?
    The accounts can be blocked in case of payment dept or when we find a misuse of service. Your account will also blocked for 24h if there are more than 10 attempts to open the session with a incorrect password.

  3. Checking time is not correct?
    All verifications are sent accordance with your time zone customized on your profil. Change it if necessary!
Others
  1. I desire to quit Xyloo, how can I do ?

    Firstly, you must remove all of the counters in your site.
    Once all counters were removed, please wait 48h after the generation of the last report.
    From this moment, you can remove your account by clicking the link "Remove your account".
